Trelawney Tuesdays

Tuesday was a warmer day which made it perfect for a tour of the city. So after class we booked a Harry Potter London tour for  the afternoon with a tour group called Strawberry Tours. They are very well named for the guides carry around giant strawberry printed umbrellas.

Our guide took us all around Leicester Square pointing out places where they filmed the movies and where the author found inspiration. My favorite part of the tour was a side street where JK Rowling wandered down as a child. This street is where she drew inspiration for Diagon Alley.

After our tour the group split and some of us went in search of fish and chips search while the rest of us returned home. I hung out for a bit before leaving for dinner plans with some aquatintences I knew before my trip. They invited me over for dinner which was sooo delicious and then of course we had ice cream. Side note: londoners take ice cream very seriously and it’s heavenly.

Over all I couldn’t have had a better day and evening.
