Sunday Roast & Monday Post

Let’s begin with Sunday

Sunday was really cool because we all visited St. Paul’s, walked across the Millennium Bridge, and visited the Tate Modern Art Museum.

St Paul’s was as gorgeous inside as it was outside but unfortunately there was a no photo rule. We also went on a Sunday so there was a service going on. The Millennium Bridge was cool because it’s in Harry Potter (unfortunately the death eaters destroy it, we lived though). And the Tate Modern had some amazing art and a gorgeous view from the top.

Onto Monday,

Monday I had my first project due for class and a presentation in class. After all that fun, my classmates and I went out for coffee and planned our day,

  • Buckingham Palace – which was huge!! And while there were no guards wearing the elaborate uniform, there were different guards everywhere. No princes though.
  • St. James Garden
  • Westminster and A large courtyard that I as a tourist failed to get the name of. Oh and this giant tower thing. (Just kidding!! It’s Big Ben)
  • The Old Vic, where we saw the play “A Girl from the North Country”. The play took place in Minnesota during the Great Depression and used Bob Dylan songs to help tell the story. I know it sounds weird but it was wonderful. Then after a very long day of walking, your American Brit slept very very hard.
